We could not have stayed at a more perfect place for a friend’s weekend! We had planned to camp at Buckhorn State Park but were literally running for our lives (and sanity) out of the park due to the extreme mosquito presence. Totally unsure of where to go for the night we luckily stumbled upon Victorian Manor and were transported to a night of comfort and hospitality. Vicki and Allen are 2 of the nicest, most welcoming people we have met, and have built the most beautiful and charming bed and breakfast. We had a great time catching up over tea on the porch and homemade cookies Allen baked – amazing! The bathrooms and bedroom were so luxurious and felt both modern and as if we were transported back to an 1800s mansion. Every last detail made us feel completely pampered and was so well thought out – the bed was so comfy and we slept so well in the peace and quiet of Mauston. The breakfast alone was worth the price of the night – it was delicious, ornate, and included local cheese, fruits, homemade jams and Vicki’s homemade baked French toast.

We will definitely remember this place so fondly and hope to visit again next time we come through. Thank you, Vicki and Allen for saving our weekend! We wish you the best of luck in your business, this place is truly one in a million!

We had camped, hiked, kayaked at Buckhorn State Park and would’ve stayed longer if it weren’t for the mosquitoes. We were being eaten alive w/our ineffective DEET-free mosquito repellant, haha. Luckily, we had found Vicki & Allen’s bed & breakfast on AirBnB. Absolutely an oasis! There was so much to admire in the beautifully-appointed Victorian mansion from the late 1800s. The bathrooms were the perfect modern and historic blend. Our bedroom was a haven of comfort and luxury. And the breakfast was by far the best we’ve ever had at any B&B! The best part was the hospitality & kindness of Vicki & Allen. We felt so welcomed from the very beginning. Honestly, their friendliness was like a big hug! With heartfelt gratitude, thank you, Vicki & Allen.

We seven people decided to come to Wisconsin Dells when I suggested Victorian Manor. My people were not sure it is going to be good experience, but when we came here and see how Vicki and Allen are nice, friendly, organized home, perfect service, delicious breakfast, we were happy about our choice!

What an amazing Victorian B&B. We were celebrating our 33rd anniversary when I stumbled on a B&B page, and felt and hoped it would be perfect. Was it ever!! Vicki and Allen are the perfect hosts! The property is so charming, perfect detail in every room. The bed was so comfy. The bathroom amenities were amazing and yet the best part is Vicki & Allen. It was -6 degrees when we arrived to a warm welcome, a warm house and what was to be a great weekend. Vicki and Allen are wonderful hosts and know the area. They have a wonderful story to tell of this house. We shared our smoked salmon and wine. Fun! Enjoyed seeing the ice fishing at Buckhorn State Park. The electronics in the room were convenient. Made it easy to charge!

We started having a little cabin fever and decided to stay at this place for a little getaway this winter. It was our first B&B experience and it blew our expectations away. The hosts are very authentic and kind. It was easy to relax because of this. Breakfast was delicious and the conversations were very comfortable. I believe we are going to make it a point to frequent bed and breakfast places instead of hotels going forward. This experience has set the table for us and it’ll be a fond memory for us.
